Manado’s Special Recipees
Yesterday in MTC (Makassar Trade Center), I found an Interesting place to eat on it’s food court. It’s located on 4th floor, at the top floor before roof top.
There are many unique recipees on it’s menu, and after we read it we choose to order “Chicken Spicy Woku”, “Fish Spicy Woku”, and “Chah Kangkung”
Chicken Spicy Woku.

Just like an “ayam bumbu rujak” but a little bit spicy, and Kemangi flavour make this food very authentiqe. On it sauces, I can find various vegetables i.e., Tomatoes, wortel, onion leaves, kemangi, and red chili in great quantity.
With this kind of agglutination spices, this food has a unique taste that I haven’t been taste before. It spicy seasoning is very delicious. When I first taste it sauces, Tomatoes add wry sensation on my tongue. The salt is adequatly to indulge my tongue. When it sauces thaw in my mouth, kemangi bring the special sensation in my tounge and my nose.
The chicken is pulpy. This signigy that it’s cooked with enough time, not too long and not too fast. Because when I bite it, it meat doesn’t loose from it bones easily. In my terminology, the chicken meat has it’s own oppugnance :P, “nendang banget…!!”
Fish Spicy Woku
The seasoning composition is just like Chicken Spicy Woku. The special thing in thi food is the fish. It meat is very soft, and melt in my mouth when I chew it. The spices dissipate in to it’s deepest meat until it’s thorn. “Mak Nyuss…lah pokoknya!!” ^_^
Chah Kangkung
Just like ordinary Javanesse Chah Kangkung, the spices consist of Onion, salt, sugar, chili, pepper, and Kangkung. The Special thing in this food is the Kangkung. I don’t know why, because when I munch it, it is fresh and green. You know… If the Kangkung isn’t fresh, the colour become dull and it vitamin has dissapear from it leaves. In this Manado Chah Kangkung, I get all the vitamin from it…heu3x “sotoy mode ON”
Overall… I rate this restaurant with 5 stars. The Price is also cheap. So… when you go to Makassar, don’t forget to taste it food…
