Fresh from the oven, I’ve got this info from Indonesia’s biggest telecomm professional mailing list: Parakontel. Orange and T-Mobile will be merged become a company called: Everything Everywhere.

Orange which has Consumer base:17.303 million users, and T-Mobile:12.996 million users is going to be the largest telecomm company in Britain with consumer base more than half of Britain’s population (30.229 millions)

Well, telecommunication business is not only about text and voice. But with the growing demand of Data communication it will drive consumer behavior to access edutainment and multimedia content.

On their press release, I read that Orange and T-Mobile Brand will still exist, because each of them has unique characteristic consumer. And this merger will be the most important steps to them to be everything everywhere.
